You are purchasing a new brake light switch for most 1990-2003 Harley-Davidson models .
The mounting nut is 7/8″. If your brake light switch is surrounded by a shield, then it needs to have a 1″ diameter opening in order for this switch to fit correctly. Replaces HD # 72023-51.
