Complete ‘Maximum Effort’ clutch kits with friction & steel plates. Developed to handle the power and torque of Big Inch / High-Performance engines on the streets today. All Carbonite clutch kits feature an extra friction plate and steel drive plate, which immediate increases the clutch area for greater holding. The friction plates are lined with 3M carbon based material, which is capable of withstanding higher temperatures and offers a higher coefficient of friction than anything else available today. The steel drive plates are coated with melonite nitrite, as also used on valve stems, with excellent results.
